Cookie policy
Updated October 16, 2026.
CozyWorld uses local browser storage for simple game features such as saved scores, progress, and mute preferences. These features keep the games working smoothly on your device and do not require an account. The one cookie CozyWorld sets itself is the CozyWorld village's sign-in cookie.
CozyWorld does not load advertising scripts or Google Analytics. It counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies and uses no browser storage; see the privacy policy. Affiliate links may include a tracking parameter when you choose to visit a third-party site. The destination site controls its own cookies and privacy choices.
Analytics cookies
Google Analytics is disabled. This version of CozyWorld does not load its scripts, set its cookies,
or send cookieless analytics pings. Cookies named _ga or _ga_ followed by an ID
may remain from an earlier visit, but the analytics code that uses them is no longer loaded.
Changing your choices
Advertising and Google Analytics are off without requiring you to dismiss a banner or give consent. Turning on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser also stops the cookie-free Cloudflare visit count, and you can keep playing with either signal on. To remove old analytics cookies while keeping your game saves, use your browser's cookie controls rather than its option to clear all site data. Clearing local storage or all site data removes saved scores, completed puzzles, mute settings and game progress. Browser controls vary, so check which types of data will be cleared before confirming.
Affiliate links
Sponsored or affiliate links are labeled and are not required to play any CozyWorld game.
Necessary and local game storage
Some games use browser storage for mute settings, best scores, completed puzzles, or simple progress. This data is used to make the game work on your device and is not a public player profile.
The village's sign-in cookie
The CozyWorld village saves your character on our server under a guest account with no name, email or password.
Its sign-in cookie, __Secure-cozyworld-world.session_token, is strictly necessary for the game to
find your character. It is sent only to the village's pages at /world/, cannot be read by page
scripts, and lasts up to 400 days, renewed once a day while you play. The village keeps sound and graphics
settings in local storage. Making or using a passkey sets a second strictly necessary cookie for a few minutes,
holding the one-time challenge. Clearing your cookies signs you out of your character, and without a passkey
that is for good, so keep it with a passkey in the village's Settings, or to remove it, choose Delete my
character there first. The privacy
policy describes what the village stores.
Advertising
No ads are shown on CozyWorld today, and no advertising cookies are set. AdSense verification uses a meta tag and an ads.txt record; neither loads advertising code. The AdSense advertising script stays blocked until Google approves the site and CozyWorld's consent setup is in place.
If advertising is enabled later, Google's advertising cookies would only be set after you agree where the law requires it, through a Google-certified consent tool with an equally easy way to say no, and you could change your choice from the Privacy choices link in the footer. This policy will then list the actual advertising cookies and what they do. The privacy policy describes how Google would use them.
