About CozyWorld

Relaxing games for adults, played at your own pace

CozyWorld is a relaxing collection of free online games for adults. It has familiar classics like solitaire, sudoku and mahjong, gentle puzzles and calm strategy games, all made for playing at your own pace in a browser, with nothing to install.

The games are made for grown-ups who would rather unwind than compete: people who like a slower game, rules they already know and a welcoming place to spend a lunch break or a quiet evening. There are no public leaderboards to chase. Each game aims to be gentle but not empty: a puzzle with a tidy little "aha," an arcade run with warm art, a strategy choice that does not turn cruel, or an idle place that gets a little nicer each time you return.

Who publishes CozyWorld

CozyWorld is the name the games and articles on this site are published under. It is not a studio with staff: it is run by Philip, one independent owner, who you can reach at hello@cozyworld.games. When a game page says "Made by CozyWorld" or an article says "By CozyWorld", it means this one-person publisher and the AI tools described below. The house rules are simple: the goal should make sense quickly, the controls should be easy to find, and the game should still feel kind when you restart.

How the games are made

CozyWorld is built with AI tools, and we would rather say so plainly. Philip chooses the ideas, sets the rules each game has to meet and decides what gets published. Claude, an AI model from Anthropic, writes most of the game code and most of the text on this site. Most covers, painted backgrounds and the art in older games were made with AI image generators; the art inside newer games is mostly drawn in code.

New game ideas usually start from two questions: what kinds of games people already look for, such as solitaire, sudoku or sorting puzzles, and which kinds of play the catalog does not have yet. Each game then has to meet the same written requirements before release: the goal, instructions and controls are shown on its page, it plays with touch, a mouse or a keyboard, and it can be paused and restarted. Since October 2026, every new game and every changed play screen also has to pass an eight-point art check (a real setting, characters that react, drawn objects, visible feedback for every action) rather than relying on a nice cover.

How the games are tested

Before a game is published, automated browser tests run it on desktop and phone-sized screens: it has to load, respond to taps and keys, pause, show its help, restart and keep a steady size on screen. Many games also have their own tests that play through levels and check scoring and saves. Philip plays them too, and many fixes on this site came from his own play sessions.

Automated tests cannot tell whether a game is fun, and we have not tried every game on every phone. If something is confusing, too hard or broken on your device, please tell us.

How the articles are written

Guides to CozyWorld games are written from each game's actual rules and checked against the game. Roundups start with our own games, then suggest games from other studios. Those suggestions come from each game's official page and reputation, not from our own review play, and every roundup says so. Topics are chosen from what people search for, and an article only recommends games that are published and playable.

How the site pays for itself

Some pages carry a clearly labeled Amazon offer. As an Amazon Associate, CozyWorld earns from qualifying purchases. Offers are kept separate from game guidance and never decide which games we recommend.

CozyWorld may show Google AdSense advertising in the future, and the site is set up for Google to verify it. No ads are shown today and no advertising code is loaded. If that changes, ads will stay off game screens and controls, and visitors will be asked for their choices first where the law requires it. Google Analytics is switched off; the site counts visits with cookie-free Cloudflare Web Analytics, and the privacy policy explains what the site does and does not collect.

Bug reports, accessibility feedback, privacy questions, and game suggestions are welcome through the contact page. You can also review the privacy policy, terms, and accessibility statement.
