CozyWorld Village

Patch notes

What's new in the village. A new version brings a new building, character or feature, and smaller changes are listed in between. Bug fixes aren't listed.

Smaller updates

  • Hide the Next card

The flag beside the clock now opens and closes the Next card, so you can keep more of the village in view. The game remembers your choice, and a red dot on the flag tells you when there's a new step.

  • More emotes, and dances

The emote button at the bottom right now has twelve emotes and eight dances, from a bow and a shrug to a waltz and the robot, and it's there whenever you're on your feet, not only when friends are around. Dances keep going until you move, little hearts and music notes float up as you go, and friends nearby see it all. On a keyboard, press G.

  • One opening concert

When your village finishes the bandstand, the band plays one opening concert that evening, then Saturdays only.

  • Days of the week

Each village day is now a day of the week, shown on the clock, so a village week takes under six hours. The band plays on the village's Saturdays, and Nell brings her cart on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

  • Three fireworks shows

Rosa's three boxes of fireworks now each put on a different show: fish that wriggle across the sky, rings of light along the bay, or hearts on golden tails.

Version 1.1

Plaques and the Village Scrapbook

Finished town projects now get a brass plaque naming the neighbors who built them, and the noticeboard has a scrapbook of everything your village has done.

Actual CozyWorld Village screenshot: the Willow Park Boathouse sign with a brass plaque on a rail between its posts, engraved Built by and the names of the two neighbors who built it.
Actual gameplay: the Built by plaque on the Willow Park Boathouse sign.

Built by plaques

Each finished town project (the Old Market Garden, the Willow Park Boathouse and the bandstand) has a plaque under its sign with the names of the neighbors who built it, most helpful first. The project's panel shows the same list, with your own name shown as You.

The village scrapbook

Open the scrapbook from the noticeboard. Newest first, it lists each stage of each town project and who helped most, the festivals, the weekly village orders your village filled, and the first fish anyone caught. What your village did before this update is already in it.

Pin your postcards

You can pin a photo postcard to the scrapbook for your village to see. Only the message side goes up (where it's from, your caption and the stamp), never the photo. You can have three up at a time, the scrapbook keeps the newest twelve, and you can take yours down whenever you like.

Version 1.0

The Bandstand

The village's third town project: rebuild the old bandstand on the green with your neighbors, and the village band plays there on Saturday evenings.

Actual CozyWorld Village screenshot: the band playing on the finished bandstand at dusk, with bunting and hanging baskets, residents in Halloween costumes dancing on the grass in front and sitting on picnic blankets.
Actual gameplay: a Saturday concert at the bandstand at dusk.

Build it together

Once the boathouse is done, the old stone base on the green between Finn's cottage and the square becomes the next town project. It goes up in four stages: lay the floor with planks; raise the roof with more planks and shells or sea glass from Cove Beach; hang flower baskets and bouquets; and set out two picnic blankets with dishes from Oliver's oven and drinks from the Driftwood. Each delivery shows up on the bandstand as it arrives, and everyone who helped is paid when a stage is done.

Saturday concerts

The band plays an opening concert the evening the bandstand is finished, then every Saturday evening in the village, from 8 to 9:30 PM village time: Rosa on the ukulele, Silas on the squeezebox and Oliver on the drum, with three tunes of their own. At twenty to eight the residents walk over to dance and sit on the blankets. Everyone in your village hears the same bar at the same moment, and the music gets louder as you walk closer.

Concert stamps

Stay near the bandstand during a concert to earn that day's concert stamp. Collect four and Rosa gives you a little bandstand music box for your cottage. The noticeboard shows your stamps and when the band plays next.

Before 1.0

CozyWorld Village opened to everyone on October 16, 2026. By version 1.0 the village already had cottages to furnish and gardens to grow, fishing at the pond and the harbor, beachcombing on Cove Beach, pets from Sadie's Pet Shop, the Driftwood beach bar, fireworks over the bay, residents who keep their own hours and write you letters, the first two town projects, the Harvest Supper and the four holidays. You could invite friends with a link, share an open village with other new villagers and send photo postcards. The about the game page describes all of it.
