Cozy Co-Workers
Five shifts. One busy counter. A crew that grows every day.
What you do
Cozy Co-Workers is a quick café rush. Customers line up at the counter with their order shown as a picture, and you send each one to the co-worker who makes that item. Ari pours coffee, Maya bakes cake, and a new co-worker joins every shift. Busy staff get tired and slow down until they have a breather, so share the work around. Five shifts build from a quiet opening morning to a festival day with gold-star guests.
- A new co-worker joins each shift: sandwiches, a barista who never tires, then tea.
- Double orders and gold-star guests who pay double but wait less.
How to play
- Press Open the café. Customers join the counter with their order above a patience bar.
- Tap a customer, then tap the co-worker who makes what they want. The icons under each name show what they make.
- Or just tap a co-worker: they serve whoever is closest to giving up out of the customers who want something they make.
- Patience only drops while a customer waits. Once someone is making their order, they are happy to wait.
- Customers who run out of patience leave, and a full counter turns new arrivals away: a red Counter full! tag warns you. Fewer walkouts means more stars.
- A co-worker who makes three things in a row gets tired and slows down. A couple of seconds off lets them recover.
- Finish five shifts to see your festival stars and points.
Controls
- Mouse or touch: tap a customer, then a co-worker. Tap a co-worker on their own to serve the customer closest to giving up.
- Keyboard: 1 to 5 choose a customer, A S D F G choose a co-worker, Escape clears your choice.
- Shared toolbar: pause, restart, sound, instructions and fullscreen. Pausing freezes the clock and every customer.
Tips worth knowing
- Serve the shortest patience bar first. Being served freezes it.
- Spread work around. A tired co-worker takes over half as long again.
- Coffee is the most popular order, which is why there are two baristas. Theo never tires, so lean on him when the coffee orders pile up.
- When the red Counter full! tag shows, serve someone straight away: the next customer to arrive will walk out, and walkouts cost stars.
- Customers served before their bar reaches halfway earn a quick bonus.
- Double orders give customers more patience, and two co-workers can work on one customer at once.
Accessibility
- This is a timed game: customers have patience bars and each shift has a clock. The toolbar pause freezes both at any time.
- Every customer and co-worker is a real button with a spoken label naming the order or what they make.
- Full keyboard play with number and letter keys, plus Tab, Enter and Space.
- Orders are shown as distinct pictures and the patience bar also changes length, so color is never the only signal.
